Just a little sketch. I'm thinking about doing a bunch small originals and selling them. Some in color and some b/w. I am getting closer on my site design and a store needs to be part of it. First the main site, then I can build and add on to it. I have so much to do before I can get to that point. Maybe this summer?

He started out cuter but after blackening aound the eyes and adding the eyebrows... well, the giggles went south. Maybe it was being poked too many times or maybe he was just having a lumpy dough day.
This is a new illustration I did for a donation prize on the mailmeart.com contest. This contest is pure creative fun, so go to the site and check it out and more importantly get involved. There are lots of sweet prizes to win which art donated by illustrators (many you will recognize) and many of the submissions will be in a big show in England later on. Here's one I did for the recent drawergeeks topic. I missed the submission deadline on Friday morning. I was up till 1:00am the night before and just couldn't get it where I wanted it. Maybe I'll do some more on it but for now I will just post it and walk away.
It was Monster Monday over at Sugar Frosted Goodness and I think insects are miniature monsters. That's why humans are so scared of them.

This is an update from an earlier work. I liked the original but didn't love it. This falls more in line with the look I have going and I am much happier with it. I think I may do this with some other pieces when I get the time.
Late on a Thursday with my IF art. Something sprouted last night and here it is today.

I was messing with Wyeth's famous painting, Christina's World. It will have some more conceptual thinking but thought I should post it cuz my posting has been that of a lamewad lately.
Hearts are red and so are books. Haaaa. Maybe someday I will be funny. Until then you will have to just love me as I am. This past two weeks has been crappy and I have been emotionally worn (long stories) when I get home which means no new art, so I dug into some old stuff. I want more time. Someone buy me a slower clock!
