Yeah! Sometimes it's so strange to see what actually is floating around in a creative brain! :-D The monster feeding that guy with a huge bug, which could also be a "guerteltier" (don't remember the english word for it) is great! So are the little birds.

Hope your brain is down to normal size already?!

maura - I'm glad you can relate. Sometimes I feel like the only one but I guess it is a creative brain's thing (i hope). I'm glad you like.

diana - the stuff floating around my brain is always strange. I like it that way. Thanks and now I am wondering what a guerteltier is. What a great word.

The way you illustrate type is just as fun as the way you illustrate characters! Very cool!

andy - I love typography. Hand type is definitely fun.

I think I may have already commented on this piece in flickr? Anyway, yes, so very true. Although sometimes the brain freeze is too much and you don't think doodling will work, but it usually does most of the time!!
This looks fantastic! You are the king of texture!
(I hope you do do softies by the way.... I'd love to see em!)

Jule - thanks. Yes, it is just a matter of time before my characters become softies. I can't wait to get the time to work in this new medium and see where it leads.

Your more "finished" work is so great, but I LOVE your sketchbook stuff, it's so much fun to get a glimpse into the moleskines of others.

Thanks Bambi - I love sketching. I love painting. I love vector art. I can't stay in one place for too long.
