I just took a job as an art director at an Entertainment company this past week and now I'm trying to juggle some illustration assignments with this new scary position. Hope I can get time to draw. I'll doodle something new and post to my blog. Don't want to let the new gig get in the way of just having fun in my sketchbook.
Joe - Congrats (I think). Being an art director, I know the pain of wanting to paint and illustrate a lot more than time allows. I hope it works for you. And don't ever lose the fun of drawing. Your stuff is too good to stop doing.
A classic. My favorite part you ask? Oh, it's definitely the pointy toothed fellow in the back, coming up over the horizon. Although the little cheese nits in the foreground rock too.
JIM, all of your work is fantastic. I found your blog by a coincidence as looking for some images on google.. and I love your style of drawing and use of color..
