Wascalwy wabbit

I have a rabbit problem. My yard is infested and nothing seems to help. They make brown spots in the yard and mess with the garden. We have wasted money on a couple of guaranteed products and I don't want to go the stinky fox urine route. Sometimes I throw tennis balls at them. They will move about 3 feet and just sit there until I get about 3 feet from them. With my shaved head and my growing frustration, they make me feel like Elmer Fudd. They obviously know that I am too soft to hurt them so my only option seems to be trapping them one at a time and taking them for a ride. Or coexisting with them.
Anyway, this illustration is not far from my freakin' reality. Sigh.

I feel your pain. We have wascally wabbits AND dorky deer. The deer are even worse. They eat up all my wife flowers and plants. She planted some new roses and they ate all the flowers.

... and we live in the suburbs... nothing but houses for miles and miles... where do they come from?

It's a mystery...

great illo, though!

This cracks me up, I kinda wouldnt mind if a rabbit looking like that is in my backyard. I would be amused. Nice buny suit too!

Muffin, Alina, Michelle, Jannie - thanks for your comments. Yes, Jannie, it is a nice suit. The neighbors laugh, but what do they know?

I'll get my brother to come around and get them and then my Mum will make some rabbit stew (yuck, not a fan myself)
eeeew fox urine to get rid of them.. never heard of that one... don't sound very pleasant...
Very cool pic. As always it's your textures that draw me in. Is it digital?

jim bradshaw said...

Stacia - thanks, so nice to hear from you again

Jules - I would try rabbit stew only because I never had it but it sounds nasty. And yes, this one is all digital. Sometimes, it is a combination of traditional and digital. I did draw it out in pencil first before doing a scratch board line in painter then the rest in photoshop.

I will take them all as pets, thank you.

Jeannette - It's a deal! If you can catch them, they are ALL yours.
