This started as a test for a larger painting so I grabbed a piece of already cut illustration board and that explains the odd size. I liked how it was coming out so I kept doodling and filling in the whole thing and next thing you know, I have a finished piece. It's really how I like to work anyway. Just let my brushes and pencils lead the way rather than tightly preplanning the whole thing.
