maura - the funny thing is, I wouldn't have made him a cyclops but there was a hole, dead center where the knob screwed into the drawer, so I needed something to line up there and wanted to keep it centered so there is story of how the cyclops came to be.
Hey Bryan thanks man. Yes, they will go on sale. I am bringing the stuff by the gallery on 1/31. The owner will then go over prices with me. I never did this before and it feels weird that I will part with these pieces. I've been 100% digital until this past year. This gallery scene is a big goal of mine for this year and beyond so I better get used to that. I also am scanning each one and will be doing prints at hopefully a couple of online places (to be announced) and maybe my own Etsy type shop as well.
Thanks for your interest Richard. I will post it on this blog when I have something concrete. I see you are from Moorestown. My full-time day job is there.
Richard - Hypno sounds like a cool place. Are you the owner or partner? I am at Sbar's on Lenola Rd. We are an arts and crafts distributor and manufacturer. I head up the art dept. We should meet up for lunch some time and talk art fart stuff or maybe I'll see you at the show.
Hey Joe, thanks. I'm am getting a lot of feed back on this painting already at the gallery and the official opening reception hasn't happened yet. Sorry for the late reply.
