Robo Brainwash

Here's a character I've been messing with. It's actually 2 characters. They are forced to get along in a codependent situation somewhere in the future.

We have visitors

It's not going to be like war of the worlds. Anyone who spends so much time and energy just to visit humans like me won't be tipping the S.A.T richter scale in my opinion. Any way, I have been having a great time in my new moleskin. This is one of the pages with some very minor photoshop color touches. I included close ups so you can see all the fun paint and pencil details.

My Kit Cat Clock

This illustration is of my Kit Cat Clock hanging in my studio. My grandmother had one of these when I was growing up and I remember being hypnotised by those roving eyes. So since I am so into time and clocks, I just had to have one. It was only a matter of time before I drew it.

Hot Diggity Dog!

What can say summer more than a hot dog on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore? Maybe two hot dogs?

I promised I would post the most completed version of this doodle to date. And here it is. Who says Jimmy can't keep his word? For detailed views of this, head over to my new site and click on sketchbook 1 and start with image 5.

IF: Emergency

This is a crop from a recent sketch/illustration. It kinda says emergency to me. But hey. What do I know. I only drew the thing. Notice how some don't sense the urgency as they sit around eating blue cheese with tea. Actually, blue cheese IS an emergency if it ends up in my mouth. An instant eject system was installed in my head for terrible things like blue cheese and the like.
I know, I spelled blue cheese wrong. I just don't respect the stuff enough to care.

jbradshaw.net is live!

I finally got my site up and running. Many things tried to get in the way, so it took way longer than I had hoped. Please let me know if there are any problems with links or whatever. Check it out! jbradshaw.net

Free Your Mind

I have seen illustrators using old books as sketchbooks. Just paint over the pages and let some print show through for texture. This is a way for me to loosen up and get off the computer. Just push paint and stuff around. I sucked my whole family into this and we had a big fun mess on Satruday. I banged out 4 pages and it was freeing.
